Roblox has wiped a truly vital component of the game, taking the well-known "oof" sound from the game due to an "licensing issue," the developer said.



Roblox Corporation, the developer of the massively multiplayer online game, announced the decision on Tuesday via Twitter and announced that a replacement game was in the process of being launched immediately on the platform.



"Related to sounds, due to a licensing problem, we have removed the "oof" sound from Roblox and created an alternative default sound, which is available today," the company tweeted.
